Ayurvedic Massage is based on ancient Indian principles of Ayurveda and pressure points, designed to heal the body and create a balance between mind, body, and spirit. The word “ayurveda” is a Sanskrit compound: ayur, meaning “life,” and veda, meaning “knowledge.” Ayurvedic Massage is also known as "Abhyanga". What makes it different from a regular massage? The use of essential warm oils and focus on specific energy points in the body makes an Ayurvedic Massage different from regular massage. You should not expect the therapist to apply a deep pressure massage for you to break down the"knots". Ayurvedic Massage has a wide spectrum of health advantages, including disease prevention, rejuvenation and cure. Moreover, the therapist covers your body in warm herbalized oils from head to toes, and then performs an Indian style head and face massage. Massage of head can assist to relieve headaches and insomnia. Massage of face, it helps strengthen the face skin and make it healthier.
